Days until the Women’s Rugby World Cup: 280
Project 100 continues to gather momentum. We have issued tender documents to four contractors who have expressed an interest in building our new changing rooms. This is in addition to secure Planning Permission from Greenwich Council and finalising our design with input from the RFU.
Our progress has been incredible and it is largely down to the generosity of our supporters and community. As we push onto the next phase we are in discussions with the RFU on a long term loan to support the project financing and a club bond. Both will need guarantors, and the more the better. If you are interested and able to be a guarantor, please get in touch.
These new changing rooms will help the club improve its facilities and, crucially, provide much needed changing space suitable for women’s rugby. The project remains on schedule to deliver new changing rooms for the start of the season and to coincide with England hosting the Women’s Rugby World Cup in September 2025.
OCs are proud to be a diverse club that supports the growth of women’s rugby at all levels and all age groups. Providing appropriate and adequate facilities is a key part of that.
